Anyone know of a good PDR person here in Indy? The careless driver of this minivan at the Carmel Meijer really nailed me with their door today. Insurance tells me that it's a collision claim, so I'd rather just have it fixed and not make a claim. I waited and waited for them to come out and then finally had to leave so as not to be late. Left a note telling them that they should be more careful and that my MINI had not one ding in 4 years until today. Think they'll call me?....yeah right. The scene of the crime...

That really sucks!! I got a new ding last week. I don't understand why people can't be more careful! Not sure on a body shop....just sad you need to find one.

I had the PDR guy at Ziebart at Lafayette Road and Georgetown remove a lot of hail damage on a car I bought. They did a great job for a reasonable price.

Thanks. I will check out Ziebart. The D&R folks also recommended a mobile guy that I might check out.
An interesting development today....I had put my e-mail address on the note that was left on the van windshield. I received a very apologetic message from the minivan driver offering to pay for the repair. She claims that the wind caught her door and that it was an accident....which very well may be the case as it was pretty gusty yesterday.....still not an excuse for not being more careful. At any rate, it was refreshing to actually get contacted in response to my note. She could very well have laughed, tossed the note, and gone on with her day forgetting about it. I guess there still are decent people out there. : )

We had the mobile guy that D&R recommended do some work for us back in 2005 and he did a really good job for us and it was reasonable cost.

Don't use Rockstars. They've since changed management & do not have the same level of service.

I had Rockstars quote the repair and it was quite high...over $200. My impressions were that they would have an outside dent guy come in and do the work for them anyway, so I was going to be charged quite a bit of overhead for the work. I have had friends use Rockstars way back in the past with good results, but good to know that they have changed management. I decided to pass on them.
I actually had the PDR repair done just today by Matt from "Mr. Dent". Scott Burton from D&R referred me to him and we were able to work it out so that I could drop my car off up here at a dealership where he was working today near where I work. He did an EXCELLENT job and was very reasonably priced....less than half of what I was quoted elsewhere. Highly recommend to anyone needing a dent or door ding taken out. I think his business is mostly car dealerships, but he can also come to your house. Here's his #...
