Hello! Application will be in the mail tomorrow. Wanted to say hi. I bought Holiday in Indiana almost 7 years ago but we've been in San Francisco for the past 6.5. Just moved back! My club in SF was mostly Classics which made my MINI seem huge hah. Lots of fun roads in CA but I'm looking forward to all the ones I don't know about in Indiana. I went all the way in MTTS 2012 and joined SF to Reno this year. I met a few of you along the way, I believe. I've tried to document everywhere Holiday has been around the country here: myminiholiday.tumblr.com/ Looking forward to meeting all of you and joining in the fun! Welcome and thanks for the link to your great photo diary. You've got some fantastic pics there.

Hi! My name is Ken. My wife Heather and I bought Lola about 2 weeks ago. She’s a pepper white 2006 Cooper S. It’s my daily driver (I commute 100 miles/day). I had never even been in a Mini until my wife suggested I check out Lola. Wow, I had no idea they had so much power and agility. I took her home that night and bought her the next day.
We have 4 kids, and I’m dying to put a big black meatball with a white number 5 on the side of her. I’m just not sure I should make her so easy to identify, lol. Thanks!

Congratulations on the MINI, the fun will continue. Motoring in a MINI, just does not get much better than that.

Hi Ken. Welcome to the MINI family. We all do things to our cars that make them easy to identify. That is part of the fun. There are no two alike.
We look forward to seeing you hopefully at one of our upcoming gatherings or events. We are a great source of information about your car if you have questions. We hope you will come join the club and find out how much fun your Lola really is.

Thank you both, I will be joining soon. Oh, and I meant I didn't want her to be easy to identify - in a police lineup She's really fond of acceleration! Ken

Thanks scooterjo! I'm reading the membership info, and I'm not sure I understand the wording. Do we need a membership per Mini, or per person? I assume its per person ($45), but I just wanted to check. Remember, there's no such thing as a stupid question (just stupid people who ask questions!) Ken

It's $30 for a membership. The driver would be the primary and the spouse and or kids would be associate members. At elections or any other votes you would have one vote per membership. You also would get one club shirt for joining. You can purchase a second shirt for $15. If you had two Minis or simply wanted you and your spouse to be primary members, it would be $45 and you would get two shirts. It works out the same.

I hope that is a little more clear. Come to a gathering and we can explain it all.

Hello, My wife Fay is now the proud owner of a new Mini Cooper Countryman. We were planning to drive to Brown County Saturday for the Maple Syrup Festival when we noticed your club was driving down as a group. Would it be okay for Fay and I to tag along and kind of learn about your club? We are new to the Mini World but anxious to enjoy her Mini to the fullest. Thanks, Randy and Fay

Thank you. Fay's Countryman S is blazing red with black roof, mirrors, and wheels. It still has the temporary license plate on it. Thank you again and we will see you on Saturday.
