First the turn signal stalk went out... Then a new battery after the old one starting going bad when my PS went up in smoke (and no Mike I haven't tried cleaning it out as you suggested). Now, Mr.C's fan runs ... and runs a lot. I checked the coolant levels and while a little low, not bad. But at stop signs/lights and when going slow, I can feel the fan kick on. And to make matters interesting I got home the other day and turned the key and took it out .... and he was still running I kinda looked over at Carolyn with the key in my hand and had this look of "what the....". Then his instrumentation tried to send a SOS once he did stop. Since then a slow turn off seems to be working. To top that off, the heater is so-so. I know he's getting a little long in the tooth - who isn't - but any suggestions of what I can expect to replace now? Don't get me wrong, I'm not getting frustrated, just want to try to be prepared

OK, so PS is not an uncommon problem in R50 & R53's, Batteries do go bad after time, have seen a couple of other MINI's with fans running a little more then they should, not seen the turn signal stalk problem. But having them all happen so close together is either a coincidence or bad Karma.
I would hope it is just the former and not the later. Don't have any suggestions on what else you might expect.
