Some say that MINIs get good gas mileage...
Some say that they are "cute little cars."
Find out what a MINI can really do on July 15th as MINICCI returns to the New Castle Motorsports Park to have some fun. As we have done in the past, this is a limited opportunity that you need to RSVP for.
MINCCI and people from the state of Indiana have proclaimed July 15th "Take your MINI to the Track Day." You've heard of "Take your child work day" or "Take your pet to work day" or even the misguided "Take that fuzzy thing living in the back of your refrigerator to work day" But now there is a day just for you and your MINI. Since for most of us every day is "Take your MINI to work day." Come and celebrate this occasion with us at the New Castle Motorsports Park.
Not only will you be able to drive your MINI on the track, but Dreyer & Reinbold will again be providing new MINIs for us to see how MINI has evolved over the years. Some even say a factory JCW Clubman might be there. Some say that the Stig is really a 79 year-old man from Fort Wayne... Some say I've been watching way too much Top Gear.
So take a holiday and join us -
if anything could be considered a mental health day, this could. If you are interested you need to email events@minicci.org or PM Professor Zoom with the following information:
Name (First and Last), Membership #, Name of your guest (each member can bring one guest).
We are sorry but due to liability children under 18 will not be allowed to be on the track at anytime.
Many thanks to John Collins and Dreyer & Reinbold MINI for arranging this wonderful opportunity. See you all there.
Oh, you don’t need to dress like the Stig, but wanting to drive like him would make it a lot more fun.
RSVP before July 10 to make sure you get on the list. For more information check out the MINICCI Forum. To see pictures from past track days check out the MINICCI Gallery.
