The web site minisonthedragon.com is up and running for this years event. The registration is not open yet but the schedule is up and you can sign up for the events. Some of them are filling up fast so you need to sign up now for the things you want to do.
As usual TAZ and I will be driving down on Wednesday morning leaving the Cracker Barrel in Shelbyville at 8:00AM. Anyone wanting to head down with us is welcome to meet up there.
I will post more information as I get it.

Registration for MOTD is now open. The base registration fee is still a good deal at $5.00. The event shirts and dinners are extra and the Brewswap is extra.
Let's have a good turnout for this event. For anyone that has not been to this event before, it is ultimate celebration of the Mini lifestyle.

For everyone that hasn't heard, the dragon is closed on both ends and is not expected to open for several months due to rock slides. I have already emailed Barry and gotten a reply from him. He said all routes or events that use the dragon are being rerouted and all events will go on. Here is a link to the alternate routes page so you will be able to get to Fontana Village without using the dragon. www.minisonthedragon.com/alternative_routes.phpHopefully they will still have a good turnout for MOTD. There are many other great roads in the area to drive including my favorite, Hellbender. Hope to see everyone there.

Finally some good news. It appears there will be an agreement between TN and NC about the dragon. I looks like the dragon will be open from the NC side to the rock slide area. This should give us about 8 miles to drive. There are supposed to be NC police at the state line and patrolling the road, so we need to be careful and not take chances on the road they worked so hard to get open for us.
