I know a number of people have different GPS mounting brackets so I was curious as to which one to get for each of our MINIs. My R53, Sue's soon to be R56 and one for Tink would be nice. It may end up being three different brackets for 1 GPS. We are looking at getting a Nuvi for the MINI and keeping our handheld for caching. I had a window bracket for Tink and for some strange reason it just kept falling off...wouldn't have anything to do with vibrations would it?

We are using a Kuda mount for our Nuvi in or R53. I think it works great.

I'd have a really cool mount for my Garmin NUVI if Way would ever get it done. I may have to look for other alternatives soon...hahaha

I've got the kuda mount in the Melo-Sub and I love it. It's in the perfect position for viewing and setting. It's also very convenient for quickly dismounting your Nuvi in parking lots to minimize temptation.

We're actually pretty lucky with our TomTom XL. The window suction mount actually fits on the dashboard just below the right center air vent and above the radio. I just wrapped the power cord down the right support to the cig lighter. It's just below eye site but within reach of both of us. And on final note - Yeah Baby! ;D

I don't have a GPS, but I mounted a sirius radio in mine. I made a little bracket from aluminum sheet stock, and mounted it, with one screw to the inside of the glove box. The glove box closes to hide virtually all of the wiring, and the bracket is bent such that it doesn't affect the way the glove box opens/closes. Took about ten minutes to make and looks pretty good.... and the wires are all hidden.
