I just joined the club. I'm planning on getting some mods done at the Cicero gathering.
I've got an '05 MCS with 18" JCW wheels.
In April I replaced the stock tires with a set of Yokohama SDrives. 9 months and 7k miles later, they're absolutely shot. I understand performance tires aren't going to last as long, but d**n.
I've been recomended Goodyear F1 All Season tires. I really put it to my car (no track time, just hard driving), so all season tires aren't my first choice.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I do not have a good suggestion on this, but when you come to the MOD party I am sure you will have several suggestions if you do not get some here.
I personally run performance tires in the summer and all seasons in the winter. Not usually enough snow here to warrant snow tires, but enough to use the all seasons and the performance tires in the winter can be a little iffy.

Yeah, that was my plan, but I'm getting a sway bar at the party, so I was hoping to get the full feel of the difference that day.
I have a crap car to drive in the winter, so I'm really only interested in performance summer tires.

How do the falkens hold up for autox etc...?
There was a British fellow at the last two D&R track days with a set of Nittos on his JCW Cooper S. I talked to him and he said he really like them but I can't remember which Nitto tire it was. Are you on here and what tires were they?
