The yellow tire pressure light is blinking on my car. When I click through the OBC, it says it's inactive. My car is a 2007 MCS so I'm thinking the battery has died in one or more sensors.
I got an OBD-II scan tool and the Dash Command iPhone app but I'm pretty disappointed at the lack of diagnostic options. It doesn't even acknowledge there's an error code since it's not the engine. I read that with the right tool, I should be able to find out which tire sensor is effected.
Any recommendations on a cheap way to diagnose? Yes, I checked the tire pressure in all tires and tried resetting :) "Inactive" persists. I did get the front brakes/rotors replaced the day before this light came on. Might just be a coincidence though!
Any advice/experiences would be appreciated!

I would take it back to were you had your brakes done, they may have done something. I know Discount Tire will check the sensors for free.

I didn't know discount tire checked sensors. Thanks for that tip! It makes sense that the battery would be dead in at least one of them after almost 8 years.
