No, but it would feel good having it sitting in your garage.

So was it under your Christmas Tree on the 25th with a bow on top? I hope the trip down the chimney went OK.

Nope. He's still working on it. Got the driving lights polished and hooked up. Working on the final wiring for the gauges at the moment. New Years is the current estimated completion date. I'm not holding my breath at the moment. But, it IS getting really close.

Seems that this thing may actually be arriving NEXT WEEK! We'll see. Weather permitting, of course, since he's driving it here from Tulsa.

Looks like R2D2 could plug in to the round fitting to the right of the glove box.

Well.... it arrived!
No pics yet. Haven't really had it outside.
Did notice an oil leak, however. And, more than "marking it's territory" kind of leak.
May have found a mechanic for it though. Taking it to him today. Given that when I visited his shop he had 2 Lamborghini's, a Bentley, a Masseratti, and a Lotus in there, I think he's on the up and up. Also, when I asked if he was willing to work on it, his response was "Heck, ya! My first car was a Mini." We'll see. I drop it off today.....
Oh.... and plating it with the 1985 Year Of Manufacture plates (ie the Wander Indiana plates) was a piece of cake! That was easier than them trying to look up the make and model in the computer to issue the new title. lol.

Remember, it is an old British car, marking their territory is normal practice. Hope it is not to difficult to get it taken care of.

Also having the entire car "gone through" mechanically. Just to make sure everything is as "right" as possible for the summer driving season. The throttle was sticky this morning, for example, on my drive in to work. That sort of thing.
