I might be wrong, they look pretty much the same to me. Might just be refresh of sorts. Was really happy with the continental's that came on car (minus being RF's) got through last winter great. Would like to get more than 30k on tires though, don't know if that was a RF thing or just the lifespan of these performance/all season tires?

I don't think it is a RF issue with wear. Had Continentals in the past and had good life span. Have had other brand RF's and had good life out of them, might just be that particular compound.

Going to go ahead and try the new version of the continentals, will post something for sure on their performance after we get some miles on them which will not take long given the 7-800 miles a week of motoring.

I just put a set of Yokohama Envigors on the MCS. The ride is so much better than those stock RF's. So far I am happy with them and they are supposed to have a 40k lifespan I believe.

I loved the Yokohama Envigors, only problem was I only got 21K and they were SHOT. I admit I had a 1hr balls out track session on them up in Michigan which caused a little "aggressive" wear.
Overall a great tire for ride and performance but a tad soft.

Thanks to the crop of Indiana Spring Potholes I am replacing the Conti run flats on my 2013 Countryman S All-4. OEM size is 205/55/17. Not much available in that size. From info on another forum it looks like I can go to 225/50/17. Lots more choices. Does anyone have an opinion/experience with this change? Any tire recommendations?

High performance all seasons (probably) or summers. I put winter tires and wheels on in the winter. Considering an all season Conti.
