I keep looking around for just fun run type of autocross events in the Indianapolis. However there doesn't seem to be anything other than Indy SCCA. Now thats fine and dandy but I really dont feel like trucking my way all the way to Grissom AFB to do some cone dodging . Not to mention Im trying to get my wife into this and a long drive would make here lose interest quickly.
Theres gotta be a parking lot some where that we can use for the day. I mean were a good group. Perhaps we can involve another club? Lets just get out there and drive these cars for the way they were designed. MAXIMUM FUN!!
Btw does anyone have a couple extra cones we could borrow?

In the past, insurance has been a big issue with anyone wanting to let you use their lot. We tried to find one to do just a Funkana on and no one was willing to let us use their lot without some sort of insurance, which can be very expensive, so I gave up on it.

The BMW club does some autocross events. You can check their website for the upcoming events. Several MINIS usually enter.
