Hello all, I'm welshdragon (brad) originally from Wales and moved to Indiana 3 years ago. Having wanted a Mini since I was about 10, we finally bought the wife a chilli red and black MCS. Sold a miata to get it as it was too impractical, the mini is as much fun and way more practical. Did a shopping trip to Sears and fit an elliptical trainer and 2 tool boxes in the back , after doing a rear seat delete!! I spend my days assisting people buy and sell houses all over Indy with my office being in Carmel, maybe I'll be able to find some of your MINI's a new home some day. Well I hope to meet up with you guys for some drives in the twisties or some days out on the track. Motor on.

Well, probably time for me to stand up and introduce myself... Hello, my name is Brian Love, from Huntington, and I'm a MINI-aholic... (pause for clapping) ;D I've owned my 2003 Dark Silver S for 3 years now, have been a member of MINICCI for only a couple of months (since the track day at New Castle). I've done a fair amount of mods, and have had smiles the whole time. This car is the best car I've ever owned. 111,000 miles on the odometer now, and I have not had one issue. I auto-x occasionally, and flog my car every day ;D My wife, and newborn son look forward to getting to meet each and every one of you guys/gals! See ya around! Link to some of my photos so you can spot me when I'm around Indy or you're up here in the north country ;D www.flickr.com/photos/31283129@N07/

Hello: Roger here, known as "Trekman72" from Columbus, IN.
We just took delivery of our new (2009) Mini a week ago yesterday. We had driven a Mercedes for the last 21 years and hope this Mini will last as long. So far it has been a real pleasure to drive, although we don't have many miles on it yet. It was really fun to track on the Mini owners lounge from the time of order placement until it arrived at D&R. It did arrive all well and good aboard the "Serria Nevada Highway". Our Mini is Sparkling Silver with Black top & mirrors with a sunroof and Bridge spoke wheels. We opted to have the English Oak dash, steering wheel, door pulls and shift knob which we think make the interior look more luxurious. We also added the window tint.
Have not come up with a name yet, but are working on it.

Hello All!! My name is Christa and I just moved back to Indiana from California after being gone for 20 years! I own a 2004 MCS, Pepper White (Pepper/PigPen), that is unfortunately still in CA. I had an accident on 8/16/2007 and they guy who hit me tore off her front end. I am in litigation at the present time, yes 1.5 yrs later. But I am waiting for the day when I can order a 2009 JCW/MCS Horizon Blue with Black Bonnet stripes! I am a member of SoCal Mini Maniacs, was the Secretary for MOALA (Mini Owners of America, LA chapter), member of SSOCMCC, and NAM. I am also a frequent troller of www.coopernation.net website that my friend Max runs, and other various car sites. I am a former Nissan nut.., My car that I just sold in CA before I came back was my show car - a 1990 300ZXTT that was dyno'd at 428 hp at the rear wheel, PearlGlow Yellow with Black leather Interior. I have owned 7 Nissan's, 1 Mini, and my current car is a 2003 Acura TL-S (DON'T LAUGH). I am only driving this Acura (yes, I know it's 4 feet longer than a Mini) until my settlement and then I get my MINI!! My co-pilots are my sister Amy, nephew's Christian & Kyeem, and one big blue Australian Shep - Anderson!! Oh, did I mention that I'm a chick?!! ;D Wanna see pic's? picasaweb.google.com/Zchickaz/MiniAlbumCarShowPics#

Welcome cooperchickca! Looking forward to meeting you... I grew up in SoCal (Palos Verdes) and end up heading back every now and then to see family.

Hi, New here.
I've been on over at NAM for awhile now, but since my MINI is almost stateside I thought it about time to join up with the local chapter. I ordered back in February and the wait has been excruciating, but it's almost over and I hope to meet some of you at some events.
