Newest member here: Little Squirt. Just bought my first mini! My how the addiction is fast to take hold! Cute little chili pepper red mini and we are now joined at the steering wheel. I am a paralegal in a small town. Interested in antiques, auctions and lame excuses to go for just one more drive in my mini. Looking forward to joining club activities and meeting other mini nuts. After all, we are probably the only ones who understand each other!

Hello everyone, My name Is Ryan... I recently purchased my first MCS this past weekend. It's an 07 Lazer Blu with 57,700 miles on it! I live in Huntington County just southeast of Fort Wayne and have been married going on almost 2 years now. I work in Auburn Indiana so I have quite the drive, which was the main push for getting a Mini! I knew I would enjoy the car.... but I didn't think I would enjoy it this much and be looking all over for things to make the car more... me. I find myself asking my wife if she want's to go for 8 and 9PM drives to go get some ice cream... or a drink.... or just some fresh air.... lol!!! I'm looking forward to the wife and I coming out and meeting everyone and having a good time!

Hey all!
My name is Andrew, and I'm actually helping my brother out with looking for some information. He has a 2006 Mini Cooper (not S) and was bought with 98k miles on it. I believe he is due for a timing belt and water pump service and I'm trying to help him look for places that are trustworthy to take it to. He's never been one to join forums, which is why I'm here.
Naturally, I would be helping him look in that area, however I am in the Army, halfway across the globe deployed overseas right now. My question is this, if you couldn't do the work yourself, where would you trust taking your Mini? He is located north of Indy so anywhere in that general area would be best. I looked for a section for reviews or garages, but came up empty.
I apologize if this isn't the normal protocol. Thank you in advance!
-Andrew

Orca is the name for my new to me 2009 MCS JCW, she's pepper white with black top and red interior. The previous owner sprayed black plastidip on most of the chrome parts of the car and the body in front of the doors. I have had it a month with some issues so here's to hoping it gets better. It had a pull to the left so took it in and found out the front left was toed out. Had to replace the battery. Normal stuff. Then I had some cold start issues. When parked in the garage overnight I had no issues but when I was leaving work it would start but I had a very difficult time driving it - kept sputtering out. Then it would run in "safe mode" as I call it. I used to do a lot of work on computers and that's the closest analogy I could think of. It gave me very limited power while driving it. Took it to local repair shop that does a lot of work on Mini's that has the Mini software that can pull the codes. After troubleshooting and researching they're saying its a high-pressure fuel pump failure. So right now Orca is sitting at D&R waiting to get worked on tomorrow. This is a known issue and according to their service bulletin they should pay for it <crossing fingers>.
Orca is an oxymoron in a couple ways, Orca's are mostly black with some white and this one is mostly white with some black. Also, Orca's are very large animals whereas obviously Mini's are well...Mini.
I started looking for a Mini several months ago after test driving one and falling love with them. I have always loved the look and stance but never looked any further until actually driving one.
