Welcome to the National Maple Syrup Festival Run II on Sunday, March 14. This is similar to the run we had last March. We will leave from Johnathon Byrd's restaurant in Greenwood at 8:45 AM on the 14th. The restaurant is at the southwest corner of exit 99 (Greenwood exit) on I-65. We will take the back roads to Story, IN and stop for breakfast at the Story Inn. From there we will continue south on SR 135 to Medora, IN and the Festival where we will spend 2 to 2 1/2 hours. The admission is $10 per person. However they are having a canned food drive. A canned food donation will save you $2 off the admission price. Those who need to come home at that time are welcome to go east on US 50 to I-65 and head north. The rest of us will go west toward Bedford then north to Bloomington, by-pass Bloomington and go east on SR 45. We will stop at the Butler Winery and then head back to SR 135 and north to Greenwood. I anticipate we should be back in Greenwood by 5:00 PM. I am including internet links to Story Inn, the Festival and Butler Winery. I will start a Forum thread on the website tonight. Let me know if I have left anything out. We do need to have people RSVP so we can get a head count for Story Inn. Story Inn www.storyinn.com Festival www.nationalmaplesyrupfestival.com/ Butler Winery www.butlerwinery.com/ There are some nice twisty roads. We had nearly 20 cars last year and hope to have more this time. Larry Taylor VP

Dwight and Debbie Barnes from Lewisville, In will be there. We need to renew our membership for 2010. How do I do that? By the way, this sounds like a wonderful trip. Thanks for planning it.

LoL! I'm doing a boil TODAY and for the next few weekends in the backyard.
Would have loved to been able to tag along to see how others do it, but I'll be otherwise occupied.
Cheers!
