If there is any rain is the event a wash-out? Since the event is later in the day, when will a decision be made yea or nay? Just looked at the extended forecast. 70% probability of rain. Showers early. Light steady rain late. Let's hope our event time is in the 30% dry conditions. Mike

It is only to be a light rain, so hopfully it will not be a complete wash out. *Fingers crossed* I'll be hoping for the best. I think we all know how predictable Indiana weather is this time of year. ;D I checked the forecast on NOAA Friday and they said showers likely all weekend every day until Tuesday. Hours later, literally, they changed it to no rain, partly cloudy. Due to a delayed shipment + damage, I will still have my all seasons on for this anyway. My wheels for my summer tires are being re-coated right now and will not be done for another week or two.

How about the track? Is it going to be the standard course or are they going to open up the new part? Timed runs? I read it on the first post, but I thought in the past we've tried to get that to happen and they wouldn't allow it...

I vaguely remember someone saying part of the new section was deemed too "risky".

I thought that was only due to the construction (loose gravel and crap) back last fall. I thought they had planned on opening it up for us, but because it wasn't quite finished and construction crews had loose stuff everywhere, they just had us stay on the normal course... The new addition looks sweet!

Hm, didn't know that. Either way it's a fun little track.

Do not know the answer to the track configuration, will just have to wait until we get there to find out and be surprised.

Are we still on? It's quite a drive for me to get there and find out that it's been cancelled...

Skillet I was replying to Kylej's post and not yours.. But, I am wandering the same thing. I'm up here in Muncie, and though it is not a long drive, there is no reason to more miles on my mini than I need to.
